Our friend Peggy Sturgis

On Friday April 2nd(Good Friday) a very good friend of the Sanchez family and Garden of Beaden passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Peggy came into the Garden of Beaden the week we opened, that would be November of 98.
Peggy was a great friend, loving wife, mother of four great kids and i'm sure an amazing sister and daughter.
I was talking to a friend the other day about Peggy and it hit me hard when she said what she thinks of when she thinks of Peggy," Her hugs"
Peggy hugged me EVERY time she walked into the Garden of Beaden. I'm not talking about your average hug. When you got a hug from Peggy, you felt LOVE! I thought she was the best hugger in the world, until I got a hug from her sister Patty last Sat. I think it must run in the family. I felt like I was getting a hug from Peggy, It crushed me...
Everything Peggy did came from her heart. She literally left hundreds of people on this earth who will never forget her.
If we could all try every day to touch one person the way she did, this world would be a much better place. I am a better person for knowing her.
I love you Peggy.

Pilgrim Congregational Church
