Patina Cuff

In this class we will learn five methods for creating rich colorful effects on metal. We will use patina and color application methods. The brass cuff is embellished with vintage brass stamping flowers. Cold connections are a great skill to add to your bag of tricks. In this class we will learn to set a rivet to join the flowers to the cuff. Embellishments are included to create one beautiful cuff in the color combination of your choosing. You will need to purchase the brass cuff and flower (available at GOB). Tara will have many colors to choose from from the rusty patina effect to colorful faux enamel flowers in a rainbow of colors.

Felted Mermaid

This class is considered “intermediate” but during a prior class I saw fantastic results from beginners. When your project is complete you will have learned the proportions of a body, with a tail in this case, in a seated position. There will not be facial definition. Many cultures over the years have made "faceless" dolls as they believed that faces contributed to vanity and a "faceless" doll showed that beauty truly lies within. You will learn techniques to build shoulder and elbow joints which gives a more realistic look to your figure.
