Classes
In order to guarantee your spot in any class you must pay in advance. At that time you will be given a list of materials. If you cancel a class with less than 24 hours notice, your fee is forfeited. Please arrive 30 minutes PRIOR to class time, if you intend to purchase supplies.





March Classes
Stamping

In this class you will learn how to cut different shapes out of 26 gauge copper plate, stamp, darken and add texture to your pieces. You will make three pieces in class. Materials are included in the cost of the class.

Treasure Necklace


A swath of fabric from a treasured garment, a petal from your wedding bouquet, a marble from your grandfather….these are treasures that are unique to you and will become forever preserved in this special class. We will explore various techniques to encapsulate and preserve your treasures by learning techniques in soldering basic glass charms and uncommon objects like dice, dominos, small china or bisque items (old doll arms etc), small pieces of a plate you couldn’t throw out….you get the picture. This is a great class for beginners and those who want to hone their soldering skills.

Create soft felted Easter eggs using wool roving and a technique of needle felting and wet felting. You’ll have a chance to embellish your eggs with sequins, embroidery floss and more.

Easter Basket


Learn an age old technique to create a coiled fiber basket with a handle using colorful yarn and embellishments. Fill it with eggs and treats for an Easter gift, or display it in your home. Variations of basket design and examples will be shown.

Resin

You will make two small collages using bezal pendants designed especially for resin use, two pieces using a plastic mold, and two piece using a doming technique. Using your personal photos or found images, you will be creating wonderful personalized gifts. When you sign up for this class we will provide you with a template for various image sizes so you will be prepared with the right sized images. You will make 6 pieces in all!

The siren of the sea beckons you into a world of make believe! Construct a bracelet cuff with wire, pearls, azure beads and sparkling jewels. Learn about design and composition as we unravel the divine order of adornment in all its splendor and free form wire work. Of course if mermaids are not your “thing” by all means select another theme.

Branch Pearl Cuff

This Cuff Bracelet class focuses on the use of the branch pearls. Delicate yet abstract wire wraps form around the pearls for the branch effect. Most of this class won't require tools. (18g & 26g wire) minimal wire experience required.

Treasure Charm Braclete

Take a hand full of mixed media and learn how to solder, drill and punch it! Robin will teach you how to make this stunning show stopper of a charm bracelet with techniques like soldering, hammering words onto metal, punching and drilling holes into coins, dice, plastic and metal as well as cutting metal shapes and basic wire wrapping . This is a process oriented class....in other words depending on your level of knowledge you may or may not finish it completely but you'll have a pocket full of techniques to take home. All supplies are provided except jewelry pliers (wire cutters, round nose, chain nose and flat nose). Please bring your soldering equipment if you have it. Please contact me before class if you have questions.
