Back In The Saddle

Well, it has now been officially 6 months since the Garden of Beaden has closed its 313 N. Second Ave. location. After 20 years I gotta admit it does feel a bit weird. I made so many great friendships that I will cherish forever.

Closing the store seriously about killed me. It was more work than I could ever have imagined. Without my friends and family it would not have gotten done. So a big THANK YOU to everyone who got in there and made it happen.

Its been a real learning experience for me getting our STORE page going on the website and for that I have to thank my nephew Dan Kuhlken, THANK YOU Dan for having the patience to work with me. You are the man! I have learned more in the last six months and know I have so much more to learn. Its taken me a bit of time because I often run into technical difficulties; I am figuring things out slowly but surly. I’ve also started posting things on my etsy page as well for larger items I’ve been using Market place on Facebook. The website is definitely a work in progress. Changes and updates will be made daily.

On a more personal note, being able to spend more time with my family has been the best! Thank you Ron for supporting me to do all the things I love. Ron and I just celebrated our 35 year anniversary. We reflected a lot on our accomplishments and could not be prouder of the family we’ve created. The love in this group is enormous! I am so grateful for all the things that we have been through; without these experiences we would not be who we are today. I am GRATEFUL!

These pictures are from the last day we were open. As well as the back storage room all cleaned up and me on one of the very last days in the store.

Thank you for your patience

Hello Folks, Things are finally coming together with all the products I brought home from the Garden of Beaden. I have opened a Store page on the website but have struggled to really get that going. I do expect to get that running smoothly very soon. One of the things I have been requested to post are Melanie Doerman instructions, Im actually working on that now, hopefully will have success tomorrow. Please don’t hesitate to email me with what you’d like to see up first.

I want to THANK all of our customers who have supported Garden of Beaden with “your need to bead”! I have made so many wonderful friendships!! We intend on growing our website so we can continue our business, just on line. We will have special events at least every other month. Our first one being our 2019 Bead Challenge, Belle Armoier Jewelry/Women supporting women. We are only taking 20 entries and we have 8 at this time. If you would like more info on this please email me

At the end of this month we will be having a HEART workshop, location to be announced. We can accommodate 10 peeps. The cost is $45.00 this will include brunch and all materials.

So im gonna say this website is the best place to find out the whosie on the whatsie. Im gonna phase out the Garden of Beaden facebook. I do love Instagram you can keep up with what we got going on there as well. Irene Sanchez facebook is all things creative as will as a lil familia.

If you have suggestions as to what you would like to see FOR Sale on the website id love to hear from you.

Stay in touch, Ill do my best. The SALE portion of this website will not be up until the end of the month. Starting with Melanie Doerman, Chain and Tierracast. These are just a few of my favorite things
